Yesterday was B&Gs second birthday and they slept until 9:00 am. That was pretty much the highlight of the day for me.
When I was bringing them downstairs, I was holding B and holding G's hand, I got to the third step from the bottom slipped on a toy and fell. Luckily I landed on my bottom, but I fell pretty hard. I called the doctor not knowing if I needed to go in (I hate to overreact!). Well, it turns out that falling while pregnant is serious business. I had to wait for Mr. W to come home and off to the hospital I went for monitoring. I was there from about 1-6. Baby girl didn't want to stay on the monitor! But it was nice to hear her HB for about 4 hours and it was nice to be able to sit long enough to feel her move around. Then I had a swab to detect any bleeding, some labs and a cervix check. All turned out okay. They didn't do an ultrasound though (bummer). Baby is moving around and I'm feeling good. Just a little tired and sore.
When I got home the boys were in their pajamas watching Mickey and eating pizza. I think they had a nice day with their Dad! Not the day I had planned, but I'm happy Mr. W got to spend the day with the boys.

Oh, my goodness!!!! Glad you're alright! How scary! I slipped down 3 steps when I was 18 weeks pg with Jack and although I did land on my bottom I was SO scared. Everything was fine though.

Oh no! So sorry to hear you fell and relieved everything is ok. Happy the boys got their celebrating in on the weekend...although the pizza and Mickey were probably a pretty special b-day too *LOL*
