I had to change the name of the blog since little miss arrived. It only took me four months!
Last week we had our entire house painted. It was a real treat since I hate to paint, but it was chaotic! The boys were really good about staying out of the way. It was just a lot to have the rooms torn up, but sooooo worth it. I did a lot of organizing and it feels good. Now I just have some closets and drawers to organize.
Miss K is officially four months and weighing in a 13 pounds 15 ounces and 25 inches long. She is now smaller than her brothers were at four months even though she was two full pounds heavier at birth. I guess she's just more of a lady with her eating!
Speaking of eating we decided to wait on solids until six months like we did with the boys. Honestly, it just seemed like one more thing that wasn't necessary yet.
She's sporadically STTN. It will happen a few days at a time and then she'll have a run of nights that she is up once a night. The boys STTN at four months and never looked back. I wish she was like that, but oh well it could be much worse so I'm counting my blessings. I'm hoping to get her out of the swing for naps soon and into the crib. I should push this more, but I don't really want to put the time into it. I'm a slacker!
Oh and she is smiling and laughing. I forgot about those big gummy smiles! It is amazing!
The boys are officially 2.5 and doing great. Brendan has been in speech therapy since he was two and FINALLY had a language explosion. What a relief. For a long time I wasn't sure he could even understand me. Then one day it clicked. He can count to 15 and can identify all of the letters of the alphabet. I guess he was just taking it all in before he wanted to talk.
G is a chatterbox. Sometimes he'll just randomly say "GG Happy!" It melts my heart everytime.
I think we're finally starting to get into a groove, but I'm sure it will change again on a dime! So many more days are hard than easy around here, but I'm just trying to plug away and count my blessings.
