This day last year

Was the IUI that brought me B&G. I can't believe it's been a year since that day and that I have four month old boys now! Today we went for our four month appointment. They boys did OK with their shots. I gave them some t.ylenol when we got home just in case they get sore legs.

B weighed 14 pounds 5 ounces and G weighed in at 14 pounds 15 ounces. I guess G isn't the little one anymore. HAHA!

In other news I think they'll both have to get helmets. :( B has had some flat head issues that just aren't going away and G's aren't as severe, but the pedi thinks he may be a candidate as well. Oh well, I would rather do it now rather than later. I just hope they adjust okay. I think part of B's problem was his positioning in utero. I'm just glad it's something easily treatable, and I'm sure they'll rock their helmets!

And a quick update on my sister. She is still in limbo until Friday. HCG went up, Progesterone went down. She got a prescription for progesterone yesterday. We'll know more in a few days. Thank you for all of your prayers and positive thoughts!

  1. Sorry about the helmets but you're right -- it's good that it is being treated early.

    Still thinking of your sister.

  2. Isn't it crazy how much can change in a year =) Happy the boys did well at their appointments and are growing well. Sorry about the helmets but hopefully it'll just take a few weeks and those nice round heads will be worth it.

Sorry your sister is still in a waiting game. Lots of PTs for her!

I agree that it's good to get the helmets taken care of now...plus, as they start crawling around more and bonking their heads, it'll just protect them all the more, ya know?
Your poor sister! How is she holding up? Does she feel positive? KUP!
