This weekend the dreaded crib climb out happened. I heard B crying and found him walking around his room. So on Saturday we headed out to buy toddler beds since our cribs weren't convertible.
I miss the cribs so much already! I think the main problem is two kids in one room. Neither has taken a nap since the conversion and night sleep has been but by about an hour and a half. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed they adjust soon.
In pregnancy news, I'm 19 weeks tomorrow. In some ways I feel like it is flying by and in others I feel like it is in slow motion. But a singleton pregnancy is so much more comfortable than twins. I've gained about a third of the weight so far. Than goodness!!
I'm in that weird time where I think I'm feeling some sporadic movement, but I'm not sure. Anatomy scan is on 8/20. Can't wait to see if all is well with this baby. OB appointment next week. I'm really looking forward to hearing the heart beat again. I should have gotten that Doppler!! Oh well.

Ugh! Sorry you were forced into the change. Hope they get the hang of it soon. I'm hanging on to the crib as long as possible =) So excited to hear about your anatomy scan on 8/20!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 19 weeks! I hope the sleeping goes back to normal. Currently we have found LM sitting up a few times in his crib, but not much else. He only tends to be in his crib when he's tired at night and he fusses in the morning to get out. So he doesn't get much time to pull up and try to get out. That and his crib walls seem very tall. I have trouble with short arms getting him out!
