My job has recently switched buildings and now I sit next to a complete drama queen. Most of the time I just can listen to her drama and laugh since we don't work directly with each other it doesn't affect my job. She is getting married in September and I probably have heard her talk about her wedding more in just a few short weeks than most of my friends heard me talk about mine in the 11 months I planned it. I understand that I had a much more laid back approach to mine and we're all different, but today I just couldn't believe her complaints.
She is totally bitching about how one or two of her friends might be pregnant for her wedding and should have "planned their pregnancies" around it. She could not believe that anyone would put themselves in a position to be "uncomfortable" at her wedding. Really? I just can't believe the level of selfishness that someone can have.

ReplyDeleteMy department secretary was going on about how one of my colleagues was having her baby the first week of the semester last year and how that was just so selfish. HER daughter had been so much smarter about it and planned hers so that the baby would be born two weeks after the school year let out where she was teaching. I wanted to slap her.
