My first OB appointment is this Wednesday. I'll be 11 weeks! I wonder if we'll be able to hear the heartbeat on the doppler?
I also decided to get the NT scan. Honestly, I just want to see the baby! The appointment is June 21 so I will be 13 weeks 1 day. It will be weird to not have appointments every two weeks after this scan!
I have been thinking about getting a doppler for this pregnancy. It would be nice to check in with baby w in between appointments! I can't decide though. Any thoughts?

I love the Doppler. I am 17w and started using it about 2 weeks ago. It helped me so much with my 1st pg & during the last 2 weeks. I was too afraid to use it earlier though. I highly recommend having one. I think you can also rent them if you did not want to buy one. Wishing you the best.
ReplyDeleteI love my doppler too and started using it at 10 weeks. Mine is a "Sonotrax" and it was about $100 on Amazon but I don't see it on there anymore, just a much more expensive version. I see lots on eBay though. We loved "checking in" weekly and even recorded her heartbeat a few times. I would totally lend you mine if I didn't hope to use it here in a couple months =) Can't wait to hear about your upcoming scans!!!

ReplyDeleteSo exciting! My doppler is my best friend, got it off Amazon for $57. They should be able to hear the heartbeat at your appointment.
