Hmmm. Seven interesting things about me. I’ll see what I can come up with!

1. I’m training to run a half-marathon in August. I posted about this a while back, but I think it will be a great opportunity to do something healthy for myself.

2. I’m only one of two children. My sister is ten years younger than me and sometimes I still feel more like her mother than her sister. I still can’t believe that she is getting married this summer.

3. Growing up I never wanted to have children. Sometimes I still get scared that I don’t have a strong maternal pull and I am a little scared of holding newborn babies.

4. I moved five hours away from my family after graduating from college with two friends. It actually now feels more like home here than when I go to my parents house. I briefly moved to VA with my husband, but I never seemed to fit there.

5. I never thought I wanted a dog, but I can’t imagine my life without my beagle, Lucy. In the middle of the night she will wake me up to let her under the covers and she will sleep in the bend of my knees. It always makes my heart melt.

6. I get very nervous in social situations and become very quiet. I’m honestly not sure how many people know the real me. I am kind of nerdy, loud and goofy and I’m not sure how people will react to that.

7. I’m no longer a natural blonde. ;)
