My friends are planning a trip back to my old university for the weekend. During the course of the planning one of my friends that has a child has mention about three times that she will need a fridge so she can pump. The other day this same friend and another friend both posted about their kids on my status. I see countless kids pics and baby bumps. I also saw a status of someone that was hoping she wouldn't have to pee too much at the movies since she is pregnant. TMI anyone? I just don't think I want 400 of my nearest and dearest to see my uterus, know about my bathroom habits, or care about my pumping. I look at baby pics when I'm feeling up to it. I can still be okay with another person giving birth. I just don't like it to be the sole focus. And please, I'm their to be friends with you, please refrain from making your profile pic your baby.
If anything IF has given me the sense to know that becoming a mother that can only talk about her children is annoying and I hope I remember this if I'm ever given the gift of a BFP.
I'm 3dpIUI and I don't feel much. Oddly enough by bbs get crazy sore after I O, but this month I've got nothing. Maybe that's good?

I agree. It amazes me what women put on FB. I wonder if they get upset when people touch their stomachs? Ick.
ReplyDeleteKeep us posted on how you're feeling!
It is crazy how much people share on FB! And, I'm avoiding FB, but I have this program in my work e-mail that helps you search people and e-mails in your mailbox. Well, recently it has started adding pictures to the information about the various people who are contacting you. Originally you had to add the picture yourself. Now it, apparently, searches their FB profiles. So, now I keep getting baby pictures from people I work with automatically popping up!! UGH.
ReplyDeleteHope the lack of pain is a good thing! :)
I appreciate FB, because that is an easy way for me to keep up with friends dispersed all around the globe, BUT I also suffer from being exposed to "too much information" people have the urge to publish there all the time. So I can relate.
ReplyDeleteYay! for interesting 'signs'. Hope they keep coming for you;)
I used to have some what of the same feelings as you. But I feel different now. It's fun to share my u/s pics, belly pics, and pregnancy announcements on FB. It's a great way to share info with family and friends who don't live near me.
ReplyDeleteI used to block all my pregnant friends who would get on my nerves.
Hey, hope this is the cycle for you! Had to smile at our similarities with our current cycles - I had 3 follies this time too at my Saturday u/s, and IUI on Monday. And at this point, I'd be completely happy with twins! (Not sure about triplets though.) ;)

Jen, I totally get that. I just find that some people are all baby all the time. I think that people should be excited to have kids. I just don't care about your pumping. :)
