CD13 and the CBEFM is still on low. I guess it’s going to be a late cycle. I go in for my second u/s tomorrow and hopefully something is happening down there. For some reason, I’m feeling defeated by this cycle before it even gets going. I don’t want it to fail, but I often feel like we won’t be lucky enough to get that BFP on our first IUI. And it looks like I might have to travel for work my O week in March and the day that I should O, we’ve signed up for a 5K. I’m sure it will all work out, and we could skip the race, but I just don’t want to! Last year I remember thinking that I didn’t want to get pregnant in March because I didn’t want to have a baby in December. Ha! I was such a fool!
I really need to stop whining now!
In some totally awesome news, I have lost 13 pounds since January 4, and now my winter jacket fits again! Yay! I was so embarrassed that I had gotten too fat to wear it. It was a small, but satisfying victory today.

Yay!!! for your lost pounds. That's awesome, Girl!
ReplyDeleteThe monitor can be frustrating sometimes. There were at least two cycle for me when it jumped from Low to Peak, so it can happen anytime. Also, the 'mid can act funky, my only delayed O so far was on a treatment cycle, actually, but I still O'd ok a week later and had 2 mature follicles for D-day.
I am cheering for you, hang in there, Girl!!!
I'm just amazed at your weight loss! You are so dedicated. That's just awesome. I'm so happy for you!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I really hope that your u/s goes well tomorrow and you are closer to that peak than your monitor thinks you are. Fingers crossed. Keep us posted.
Woohoo for the weight loss!! :)
ReplyDeleteI've had weird long delays with clomid, too. The first time I took it it pushed my normal O date further by quite a bit. The next time I was monitored, and I thought I would be late, too, but when I went for my u/s there were all sorts of ready-to-go follies three days before my normal O date so we triggered. I suspect the same might have been going on the first time but nothing was leading the pack and causing one to pop.
And, don't worry about feeling like you're whining. Sometimes I feel like that's all I ever do anymore...
