My u/s went pretty well this morning. I have 2 follies at 18mm and 16mm, one on each ovary. Go team! I go back on Saturday for a follow up and I’ll either trigger Saturday night for a Monday IUI or on Sunday night for Tuesday. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this cycle will work because I have to travel on two key dates next cycle, but I’m really trying not to think about it right now.
I have to go buy my ov.idrel shot. Does anyone know if all pharmacies have this in stock, or have any recommendations of where I should go? I’m really nervous about the shot since I’ve never done one before.
Also, I’ve been jogging pretty regularly. Do you think my RE will have me take the 2WW off? I kind of hope not because it keeps me sane, but I’ll do what I have to for the cause. I’m going to ask her when I go back for the procedure.
Thanks for all of your support! I’ve been pretty positive the past few months, but I feel like I’m on the verge of a major meltdown right now.

Great news about your follies! As for the Ovidrel, I used to order mine from out of state pharmacies because they were cheaper. I used Ascend, but I hear Freedom is even less expensive. You may want to call places in your area, too, just to see how their prices compare.

Thanks for the tip, Katie. I called C.ostco and they were $60 - $80, but Freedom is only $42!

ReplyDeleteI got mine at CVS just because it was convenient but it was expensive--about $110. The first time they had to order it and it took a couple of days. The pharmacist informed me he now keeps it in stock just for me. Wonderful.
